Sorfert Algerie is a joint Sorfert was created in 2007 as a joint venture between Orascom Construction Industries (OCI) – %51 ownership and the Algerian state-owned company Sonatrach – %49 ownership. The plant was fully commissioned in 2014.

Sorfert is an excellent illustration of a successful Algerian partnership between Sonatrach and an international investor, which successfully engineered, procured and a commissioned a world class plant in 2014. Since 2014, Sorfert fully operates and manages the plant.
